"When faced with the choice to put your parent in hospice care can be a very scary and daunting task. The whole team at Community Care Hospice is just that, a TEAM who all work together to make sure your loved one is as cared for as possible in the final stages of life. From the initial contact with Norah to the day to day interactions with Nurses Johanna and Gabby, my experience could not have been better. Johanna and Gabby were so patient to explain all that was going on even when I was anxious and not a good listener. They explained the reasons for the medication, how my mom was progressing and addressed any and all concerns I had for my moms comfort. These two ladies are so good at what they do, and I cannot express how at ease they put me and my mom, and I will be forever grateful. The team as a whole works well together to ensure you are your loved one get the overall support needed when faced with end of life. I could not have found a better hospice team to take care of us at the end of my moms life and so glad I had the chance to work with them. "

" I don't know why I did not write this sooner. This place is great. First they were there for my family with my dad. They provided great support to him and us for over a year. When he got worse they worked it out to get time for him to go to a facility for a couple of weeks and then were hands on in helping to find a residential home for him to stay at. When ever we needed them, when something needed attention they were there. I don't remember all the staff names, but they remembered me and my mom. Several years later I needed hospice for my mom. Most of the staff is the same and they remembered us from taking care of my dad. My mom was only on hospice care for about 16 hours. But they got us pain meds and made sure she was comfortable through the night. The one staff I remember is Jennifer Leos the Chaplin. She was there with my dad and helped me with my mom. Also the Director-I have know him as a Physician for years-thank you all, your care you provide is more than you would ever know. "
